The Apogee Duet is a high-end 2 channel, 2 way (A/D D/A) interface designed for use with Apple’s Logic Pro DAW, Soundtrack Pro and GarageBand, or any Core Audio application. It includes 2 channels of pure, clean yet robust microphone preamps with selectable 48V phantom power, a pair of ¼” high impedance, unbalanced analog inputs for guitars, synths, and just about anything with analog outputs, a pair of ¼” outputs to send to your speaker monitor setup as well as a high level headphone output. All connections are via the included breakout cable. There’s a multi-function controller knob for volume and input gain control as well as assignable midi control.

Included is Apogee Electronics’ Maestro software. Maestro allows you to use the Apogee Duet with any Core Audio-compatible software application. All of Duet’s functions are easily controlled and configured using Maestro which also allows Duet’s controller knob to perform a slew of functions including levels, panning, song position (acts as a jog/shuttle), headphone and monitor mute. The direct, complete integration with Logic Pro, Soundtrack Pro and GarageBand make it a breeze to navigate through all the recording functions of these popular Apple software titles and assists you in creating professional sounding productions with relative ease! The Apogee Duet also serves as a fantastic audio output for your Itunes collection as well as Internet radio and video audio.
