Ampeg SVT810E Classic Series 8x10" Bass Speaker Cabinet
The Ampeg SVT-810E is still manufactured using the same design dating all the way back to 1969. The Infinite Baffle design of these sealed enclosures produces vast amounts of tightly focused bass. In the world of high performance bass cabs, the Ampeg SVT-810E stands tall and proud. This is the speaker enclosure people mean when they say SVT speaker cabinet. It’s all about tone. Other than the color scheme, it is identical to the original SVT-810.
Why eight 10” speakers? Ampeg learned early on that 10” speakers work much more efficiently than fifteens or eighteens—and if you put eight 10” speakers together, you can move a huge column of air. You’d need five 18” or six 15” speakers to move as much air as the SVT-810E! And they simply wouldn’t be able to respond to transient peaks as quickly as these tens.
Comments about Ampeg SVT810E Classic Series 8x10" Bass Speaker Cabinet:
This cab has the only two things that matter when talking about buying equipment. Tone and Dependability... and it has tons of both. I own two of them and recommend nothing other then this cab. I personally pair them up with a set of SVT 450 Heads and the earth shakes when I play. THE PROS: For less then 2 Grand you can have an arena worthy rig!!!!! From jazz to the heaviest metal ever played you will never be let down with this cab. In 135 shows my two have never let me down. There is a reason that this is the industry standard. Also this exact cab is the back line in every club in the world... Makes it super easy for when you go to a club just needing to bring your head. The sound is amazing and one listen will let you know why every one you know has bought one of these cabs.
THE CONS: The only draw backs are that they are heavy, I mean really heavy, like bring a friend heavy. The other big draw backs come in the words Tolex and acoustic grill cloth. Easily torn and cigarette burned you will need a case almost as soon as you buy the cab... But if your grandmother was willing to cover her couch in plastic you should guard your cab with a good road worthy case.
THE RESULTS: The pros defiantly out weigh the cons. Now just press "BUY NOW" and get ready for road because your going all the way to the top with this baby!

Comments about Ampeg SVT810E Classic Series 8x10" Bass Speaker Cabinet:
This is the cabinet that all the others aspire to be. The truth is there isn't another cabinet that comes close. O.k. it is heavy, but it is worth its weight in gold. Any type of music, any tone any playing style this cabinet can help you achieve what you are looking for. I recently paired this cabinet up with the SVT 4-Pro and it was a perfect match. Then again this cab will improve the sound of any amp head. If your looking for versatility and reliability with deep rich warm Ampeg classic tone then this will be the last cabinet you will ever buy.
