CONTROL

Front-panel channels (top down): 4 mic/line channels with 75Hz highpass filter switch and mic/line gain. All channels with 3-band EQ (high shelving at 12kHz, mid bandpass/reject at 2.5kHz, low shelving at 80Hz), aux send A (pre-fader), aux send B (post-fader, onboard or external effects), pan or balance, level.

Front-panel other:

Effect section with selector plus clip and signal LEDs. Aux return A level, effects/aux return B level. Main out level with 2-track to mix switch. Headphone/control room out level with 2-track to control room switch. Stereo 8-segment LED meters.

Search for a problem with a high pitched hiss on this mixer and you will see why I do not think this is good for home studio recording.

This is one heck of a mixer for its price. I beeen using this mixer for about a year now, and its by far one of the best mixers i've ever worked with. I'm on the road constantly so its compactability is perfect. The sound is great! You can use it as a sound card to replace your current one simply by plug in the USB, no drivers to install. Or you can also use it as an audio interface or both. Perfect for recording or live gigs. The effects are good enough for live gigs, but I would recommend you use your DAW to put effects on your raw sound. I would highly recommend this to anyone, beginers and pro's.

I'd like to set the record straight up about this mixer. You get a crisp sound quality on this lil bad boy, you've got at least 4 mic slots & RCA ins & outs, built in FX, USB connectivity (and more...) and all that for just under $200.

I've bought one about 3 years ago and have been using it for every project since with no major complaint. OK so the Built-in FX may not be the best...simply record your sounds raw and add your FX later from your DAW.

Personally i've HONESTLY noticed a clearer sound quality with LESS background noise during recording with this thing than when recording at other local studios. I use it mostly in my home studio but it came in handy during Easter church service at my church as a back-up mixer for vocals and i was also able to burn the whole service to CD easy.

I always say "It's NOT always what you have, but what u can do with it" Would Highly recomend this to a friend!

All of the effects on this mixer sounds the same...It has 99 different effects and they all sound the same...definitly a waste of money!!

i bought this to make home recordings, it sounds great, it can be loaces up with plenty of instruments, but you need a good software to meke a good work with it, the cubase le 4 software include is pretty good, but i use better adobe audition 3,

I got this in a rush after the microphone jack on my laptop broke, it doubled as a upgrade and a patch up. If you have the right software you can record two mono tracks separate to your computer which is nice for me when I'm recording live (coupled with my other mixer going in on the microphone jack, I can record 3 instruments on separate tracks live, really nice for editing). Also, the sound is very good because it's low latency USB, it quickly became my favorite as compared to the [$]mixer I now use less frequently. If you have you have around [$]though, it's a no brainer to ignore this, there are better things. Perfect for anyone on a [$] budget!

i like being able to record in stereo. I got the key board lines split, I got one mic on the amp and the other across the room for the guitar, I got multi lines for recording drums. I can get the live band feel with one person. For $50 more than most usb products out there you get 1000% more output. Great for a home recording projects!
