Okay, so I bought this because I couldn't afford a Fender Tele. But I had to have that Tele sound for the country-style music I like to play. And, for dirt cheap, I got it. I have NO complaints about this guitar, other than a rather frequent need for tuning. It's easy to play, the fretboard is super-smooth and makes bending a breeze, and if you put it through any decent amp and use a select few effects pedals, you can make it scream. I chose the blonde finish-- I've played it for a year now, and have never needed to adjust a thing. Great bang for the buck.

I picked up this blondie because i couldn't see myself spending big bucks for a tele that i might not play all that much. To my surprise i use it quite a bit I've had this tele for 2 years now and use her more than my heavier more expensive Les Paul. The sound is decent and gives that tele twang. I'm using various amps like fender, crate and line 6. It is light and has a fast neck for being so cheap. Advice. This is in no way a metal shreading guitar. Single coils are good for classic rock, funk, country, and blues. Metal = humbuckers

this is a really good guitar once you start playing it you get used to the feel. it is very comfortable. i would recomend this for a biginer or someone in the middle of beginer and expert.

I bought the Butter Scotch version . I didn't intend to at all , I just went into the store to buy my wife a new tele. And got this "cheap"one down so she could get a feel for the body style . Well , after checking it out for Her to test drive , I had to get her another one to try because I just couldn't put it down .The feel of the neck was slick & fast , it has really good sustain (for less expencive electronics) , played well but even better after I spent a few bucks to have it set up ! Now , it's slicker than greased lightning! I know it sounds like I'm getting paid for this reveiw but , I'll put it this way , I went into the store to buy my wife a new guitar & had to leave with 2 new guitars ! Even though Hers was a much more expencive Tele. , other than a possible future electronics upgrade to suit my desires, This little Suire tele. is a KEEPER for sure ! Just DON"T use Fender Bullet strings ! They suck BIG TIME . Ernie Balls seem to be very playable on this guitar . The other strings are too sharp sounding & take a week or two to settle "tone-wise" & I haven't had that problem with the E.B.Slinky's . All summed up , the quality was suprisingly GOOD compaired to the "old" Squire's that just weren't ever up to Fender Par , a Good neck & Body , the electronics could be upgraded inexpencively & worth it to have a keeper . For the price of this little sweety , you can spend a few bucks , have it set up properly , upgrade the elecronics to your preferance (although their not really bad )if the neck pickup gets a little muddy , twist the tone knob & it'll clean right up . So , It's a great guitar , much more for the price & , a little tweeking $100 - $200 , it could take on a $800 - $1,200 Tele !

This guitar is an AWESOME guitar for its price! The feel is Amazing and the tone is GREAT! It plays like a true Fender! The only down-side is that if you order Arctic White its actualy Very creme or a light yellowish blonde.But it still looks AWESOME. You cant find a better guitar for the price!!!

My main guitars are an american fender strat, and a gibson les paul. I bought the blonde squier affinity telecaster so I could have a backup guitar to use when traveling, something I wouldnt have to worry about too much.

I first bought the squier affinity strat, but the one I got had dents in the frets, and a very brittle sound. IMO, the affinity tele is much better.

It looks beautiful, the neck feels great and plays better than any other one in its price range. Mine came with a pretty decent setup and I didnt have to adjust the action or truss rod.

My only complaint is that the neck pickup is very weak and has much less output than the bridge pickup. I installed a lindy fralin neck pickup to remedy the problem. The bridge pickup is awesome, has that nice telecaster bite, and i'm keeping it in there.

The bridge is top loaded, instead of being strung through the body, which makes it easier to restring, but has less sustain as a result.

Tuners, bridge, saddles, all seem pretty solid and I havent had any problems with it.

It's a great looking guitar, has the classic telecaster sound, and is one of the best playing guitars for the price that i've seen. Check it out.

I bought this at a local music store with some extra mony I had. I just wanted a tele so bad that I wasn't really thinking that any thing could be wrong with it.Every thing about it was awsome when I brought it home the tone was sweet the neck was fast I just loved it.Ok now to the bad side of it .First thing I noticed that was wrong with it was that the intonation on the second fret of the e 6 string it sayed in tune well until about a couple of monthes later. Another thing is that the bass knob fell off .Besides that every thing has been fine.(by the way I have refineshed it and had a Bill Lawrence pickup put in the bridge position) Overall it's a good begenners guitar.
