What a find/sleeper! totally happy. The built in sounds are sub par, but what do you expect? I haven't compared it directly to the yamaha dd65 or similar, but this thing is effective for midi triggering (and you don't have to pay $200 for pedals like yamaha). It comes with sticks too. no stand though. I trigger Vi One (nice, but soon to be Ocean Way drums) and was sick of clicking dots and wearing out the C and D keys on my keyboard so I got this instead of an MPC style finger pad... didn't take long to get used to. I really like how you can catch the cymbals and the HH has proper open/close action. 2 kick pedals would be nice for double bass, but I'm thinking about rigging something DIY up.
