This cleaning cloth definitely removes fingerprints and smudges without scratching the finish of my guitar. Unfortunately, after using it I need another cloth to get all the fuzzy pieces of this cheap Dunlop cloth off my guitar. This happened the first time I used it, and has not stopped. Spend a few extra dollars on a quality cleaning cloth.
