I used pinstripes for years, but for some reason, they became very hard to tune and less responsive. I met Terry Bozzio in Kansas City while he was playing the 2006 "Zappa Does Zappa" Tour, and was then made aware of the Attack heads. I tried a set of them and wow, what wonderful tom heads. They tune with ease, sound great, and most importantly for me, they are very responsive. The bass drum head was less desireable, but still sounds and plays good. Most of the "trendy" heads sound okay, but the response factor just isn't there for me. I recommend the Attack heads to anyone who wants great sounding, responsive heads.
