Ernie Ball, while noted heavily for the professional craftsmanship of Guitar strings, did not pull through for the bass strings I purchased recently. The build, while long lasting and survived brutal and intense playing session, the tone wore out within 4 days. I play a Warwick Rockbass Fortress 4 string model, and honestly, Ernie Ball did not meet my standards. Stick to guitar strings Ernie, leave bass to the rest of the world.
