Fender Road Worn Stratocaster Series

The New Classics!

For lots of us, there is nothing more comfortable than a well worn pair of jeans, no home better than a nice old Victorian, no car better than a classic, and no song better than an old familiar tune. For us, there is now the Road Worn 50's Stratocaster inspired by the models of the 50's and the Road Worn 60's Stratocaster which is based on the Strats from the 1960s. Both models have been aged to feel well played, and supercharged with Fender's Tex Mex pickups and 6105 Dunlop narrow jumbo frets. You'd have to pay a fortune to get a real vintage guitar like these, but in the Road Worn series you get vintage without the cost.  You even get Fender’s Deluxe Gig Bag

If you like the comfort of a well worn guitar, but want some of the more up to date improvements and the Texas Blues sound, then for 2011 Fender offers the new/old Road Worn Player’s series Stratocasters. The finish is a bit less worn and the pickups and hardware are up to date, with three Texas Special pickups in the SSS model (like the Stevie Ray Vaughan) and two Texas Specials and a Seymour Duncan Pearly Gates humbucker on the HSS model. Both models come with a Fender Deluxe Gig Bag.
