As the Stratocaster has evolved over the past 60 years, many players have seen their favorite
models come and go. At one point, CBS owned the Fender Company and many guitarists longed for
"pre-CBS " models. Today's strong, independent Fender Company, even as they
constantly develop and improve the Stratocaster, recognizes that the taste for older models will
never die. Hence the
American Vintage Series.
The
American Vintage Series includes three models:
Each guitar is built with traditional features that capture the characteristics of an
instrument from the particular era.
