Comments about Native Instruments MASCHINE MK2:

I just purchased my own Maschine MK2 and this thing is amazing. For someone just getting started in producing music, this is the way to do it. Maschine 2.0 is an incredibly easy to use piece of software, and having the MK2 controller makes it even easier. You rarely even need to look at your computer screen while you are making a track. All the options, parameters and plugins can be controlled directly from the MK2 unit, no need to fiddle around with your mouse trying to find the right button or knob, its all right infront of you. Additionally, the MK2 comes with Maschine 2.0 which has 8gb's of sounds/samples including the MASSIVE plugin.

Comments about Native Instruments MASCHINE MK2:

I come from the world of MPC's. Over the last few years, I've tried moving over to or at least tried incorperating software into my workflow, but I always came back to my trusty old piece of hardware. The software route seemed to distract me from actual music production; I was too busy tweaking or setting up midi between my sampler, my computer, controllers etc.

Then I gave the maschine a try. Now all I use is software! Theres obvious comparisons between Maschine and the MPC's or Roland MV's (16 pads, lots of buttons) but the most important of them all is the workflow. What I loved about my MPC was that I could use it with my eyes closed. If I had an idea in my head, I could translate it over to music quick and efficiently. And now I've found that in a software based controller.

Aside from that, Maschine comes loaded with 8 gigs worth of sounds and a few KOMPLETE plug-ins. Speaking of KOMPLETE, if you add that to the arsenal, it seamlessly integrates with maschine so you can control all the parameters and play all the instruments directly off the pads.

If you're looking to step your production game up, Native Instruments Maschine is Definatley a huge Upgrade for anyone who doesnt already own it.

Comments about Native Instruments MASCHINE MK2:

Being a guitar player myself, electronic music can be intimidating to get into. DAW's can be complex. Maschine makes it easy to create and improvise. You can load up individual sounds or entire kits. You can even load in VSTs/AUs, like the included Massive Synth, or even third-party VSTs/AUs. It's flexible and the possibilities are limitless. Comments about Native Instruments MASCHINE MK2:

I was into making electronic music before they started calling it EDM, but I so wish it was as easy as it is today. I used to have multiple keyboards, drum machines and other devices just to make all the sounds and beats that this has built in! It's not fair! Gotta love technology! Now I can carry my "studio" in a laptop bag and take it wherever I wish. Definitely recommend to anyone who wants to start making music or even the seasoned veteran.

Comments about Native Instruments MASCHINE MK2:

Well... If I'd have done my research a little better I would've gone with this instead of the Maschine Studio, BUT!!! The studio is still way more incredible haha.

I love producing EDM, it's my forte', and I got this for a friend that does the same, and since he's more beat-based than I am. I said my earlier statement because MASSIVE and the other software plug-ins this comes bundled with are INCREDIBLE for producing. And at this price, it's a steal ._.

Having a tool like this to control them and your projects from just makes everything easier. Even DJing with this just adds spice to your live set able to one-shot samples and create live drum breaks!
