This unassuming little box shovels out enough low frequencies to scare a blue whale. It takes your guitar signal, fuzzes it up, then duplicates it two octaves down. You control the output and the mix between the dry signal and the effect. Using it 100% wet is quite an experience, but more recognizable sounds appear as you dial In more dry signal. The Blue Box is known for having a chaotic personality that can make each session a totally unique experience!

  • Adds fuzz to your signal and then duplicates it two octaves down.
  • Control the mix of the dry signal and the effect.
  • Used by Jimmy Page for the solo in Led Zeppelin's "Fool in the Rain."

Power: Single 9 volt battery or Dunlop ECB-003 AC adapter (Not Included)

Comments about MXR M103 Blue Box Octave Fuzz Guitar Effects Pedal:

"mix -min wet- sweet tone perfect for sabbath and the like mix- med wet- strange effect- still good for sabbath if you want to get things a little heavyer. otherwise good for your own creations -sounds like nothing i'v ever heard. mix-max wet- good for unique solos on e/b/g strings from the twelveth fret up otherwise completely useless, exept for pluging into a friends amp and making them think you just fried it. sound quality is good you would never know it is a digital pedal."
