Nothing Drops Like the DR Strings, Extra Heavy, DDT-11 Spider From Its Web.

The first thing you will notice about these strings is how stable they are...how they go right into tune and lock in. Players say, "They are so stable it is almost eerie." Now, you can stand and deliver in-tune notes at lower pitch that are clean and clear. Expect more and get more! Change tunings and be surprised how DDT strings lock in. Be surprised how little adjustments you make. DDT strings deliver far more than just heavy gauges.

Drop tune with confidence. Drop tune with accuracy. DDT strings maintain their intonation at lower tunings far better than any other string ever played or heard. Designed, and wound to answer the needs of the dark side.

Heavier strings/heavier tone!

Comments about Dr Strings Ddt Electric Strings:

For a few decades I used .010-.046" strings on my electric guitars. I decided to go to something heavier and tried a few different gauges. Then I saw these .011-.054" DR strings and got a set. They are now on 8 of my guitars.
They're intended for drop tuning, but I use them with standard tuning. It's a little harder to bend (just a little) but that's a small price to play for the tone! There's also lots of bottom end when you get down to the 5th and 6th string.

Comments about Dr Strings Ddt Electric Strings:

After decades of using .010-.046" strings on my electric guitars I decided to go to something a bit heavier. I used several brands and enjoyed them. Then I saw these at the store. They're supposed to be for drop tuning, but I use them with standard tuning and they are great!
It's a little harder to bend than 10's but that's a small price to play for the sound and when you're on the 5th or 6th string the bottom end sound is fantastic.
