McDSP FilterBank V5 is 3 plug-ins:

E606 – Parametric, high and low shelving EQ, high and low pass filters

P606 – Parametric EQ with variable Q modes

F202 – Steep high and low pass filtering with resonant Q control

With its unique Peak, Slope, Dip controls and variable Q modes, McDSP’s FilterBank V5 can emulate any EQ, or be used to create a distinct custom EQ.

FilterBank is not just another great sounding EQ - it's every EQ ever made in one plug-In. FilterBank achieves this lofty claim through its unique design philosophy: give the user maximum control. All critical equalizer and filter design parameters are totally user adjustable. FilterBank can emulate any EQ: tube driven or solid-state, vintage or modern, fat or thin. System Requirements:

McDSP HD and Native plug-ins are compatible with Pro Tools HDX, Pro Tools HD, Pro Tools LE and Pro Tools M-Powered systems as well as Audio Unit compatible DAWs including Logic, Digital Performer and Abelton LIVE. Additionally, a third-party software application that supports the TDM, RTAS or AudioSuite plug-in standard may be supported.

McDSP plug-ins support Mac OS 10.5.x (Leopard), 10.6.x (Snow Leopard), 10.7.x (Lion), Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7.


McDSP plug-ins require an iLOK USB Smart Key for authorization.

Supported Plug-in Formats:

McDSP plug-ins are available in TDM, RTAS, AudioSuite, and Audio Unit (AU) formats. Support for the AAX plug-in format (Native and DSP versions) is being added as a free update to V5 products.

Supported Hardware:

McDSP plug-ins support any Avid or approved third party hardware supported in Pro Tools 7.4.x, 8.x, 9.x, and 10.x or greater, including the HDX, HD and HD Accel hardware interfaces, 002, 003, Mbox product line and M-Audio interfaces.

McDSP plug-ins also support approved hardware for DAWs supporting Audio Unit (AU) including audio interfaces made by Apogee, MOTU, and RME.

McDSP Mac versions are compatible with both Intel and PowerPC based computers, however McDSP Audio Units (AU) plug-ins require Intel based computers. McDSP Windows versions require an Intel Pentium 4 or greater processor.

All McDSP HD plug-ins, except Synthesizer One, also support the Avid VENUE D-SHOW systems.
