The Martin HD28V vintage Acoustic Guitar comes to you from Sam Ash Direct for the guaranteed lowest price with fast free shipping. Call us today for special attention.

In order to be considered a great instrument, a vintage guitar needs to sound and feel like you’ve traveled back in time. The Martin HD28V vintage reissue acoustic guitar does that and a whole lot more, thanks to modern updates that stay true to the original models from the 1930s.

The Martin HD28V was first introduced in 1976 as a replica of the pre-World War II Martin D-28 acoustic guitars, and has been steadily improved over time to become one of the most playable and popular acoustic guitars available. Every strum of the HD28V yields a perfect balance of full bass and treble tones, and few acoustic guitars can match the HD28V’s resonance. Vintage visual features include the grained Ivoroid binding, herringbone trim, squared headstock, scalloped forward-shifted Dreadnought X bracing, and modified V-shaped neck. If you’re looking for an amazingly versatile acoustic guitar, regardless of your musical preference, the Martin HD28V vintage guitar should be your first choice with no questions asked.

When you get your Martin HD28V vintage acoustic guitar from Sam Ash Direct, you get the Martin limited lifetime warranty and the benefit of 85+ years of Sam Ash experience. You also get the guaranteed lowest price, free shipping, and the Sam Ash Direct 45/60 day return/price protection policy. Call or click today.

Comments about Martin HD28V Vintage Series Acoustic Guitar:

Owned for about eighteen months. This is the best sounding and playing guitar that I have ever owned. I use it for playing and home recording. Great sound with fingers or pick. This guitar just starts to sing the second I start to play. This is one of those guitars that I will never sell. If anything, I'd buy a second one for alt tunings.

Comments about Martin HD28V Vintage Series Acoustic Guitar:

The first time I picked this guitar up, I immediately fell in love with it. The attributes of a good instrument are that it plays good and sounds good. This one plays and sounds great. I've heard very few NEW guitars that have the tone and punch of this jewel. None in this moderate price range. The modified v-shaped neck is probably the best "feeling" neck I've played, except of course some of the vintage mid-fifties v-necks. This guitar not only stands out, but could very easily dominate an acoustic music jam session. The action is low for an acoustic guitar. With light guage strings, it plays like butter. With medium guage, my personal preference, it sounds like a dream. I would dare to even compare this baby to some of the brazilian rosewood models. I don't really care much for the look of the open-back tuners, but they work just fine. Never had any tuning problems with any Martin guitar. If I only owned one guitar, this would be my choice of the 14 that I currently own. Not a cheap instrument by any means, but not so expensive I would be scared to take it out and play it. I,ve played a few other HD28V's besides just mine, and I've been impressed with every one. Not only a great guitar, but I believe a good investment.
