Comments about Martin DRS2 Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

I've been playing guitars for 50 years. I've played electric, classical, and more acoustics than I can count. I had a stroke a number of years aog and nerve damage in my left arm so I no longer play lead, but can still play rhythm guitar. The problem is that my left hand cramps up after I've played for a couple of hours with every guitar I own EXCEPT the DRS2. The feel, action, and playability of this guitar are unbelievable. If I weren't already happily married, I'd marry it! lol

Comments about Martin DRS2 Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

I have owned and played numerous guitars, Gibson, Fender, Gretsch etc.. and this guitar slays them all. I received it in the mail from Sam Ash, unboxed it and tuned it and could not put it down, the action is amazing!!! I played it for 4 hours and could not put it down. The sound is consistent and amazing. I still own a Gretsch country gentlemen, and a G3700 as well as a Zager ZAD 50 and this guitar blows all of them away. I plugged it in and it sound just as good amplified. I had heard for years that Martin Guitars were the best, well after playing this guitar, they are right. Save the money and don't waste your time with anything else, Buy a Martin Guitar

    Amazing acoustic for under $1000

Comments about Martin DRS2 Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

Martin has been known for having some of the best acoustic guitars out there in the market and the DSR2 is a great example that you don't have to spend over $1000 to get a good acoustic. Solid Maple top and solid Sapele back and sides lends itself to a gorgeous warm tone. A nice plus is that this is one of the few guitars under $1000 that comes with a hardshell case. If you can afford it, snag this up quick.

This is a well built legendary Martin guitar at a fantastic price. The preamp sounds warm and beautiful, and the neck is easy to play and feels just right. Whether through an amp or unplugged this thing lives up to the Martin name. It's in a classic dreadnought shape and comes with a form-fitting hardshell case to keep it safe. This is a wonderful guitar that will treat you right and remain structurally consistent for years.

Comments about Martin DRS2 Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

This is the most affordable Martin on the market that still maintains the tone, quality and workmanship one expects from a name like Martin. The body is made of a solid sapele back and sides with a solid spruce top which truly allows the guitar to 'sing' with amazing tone and balance. The design of the neck is super comfortable even for those with smaller hands. The Fishman electronics included are so reliable and clean, not distorting or getting in the way of the sound of the guitar at all. Aside from all the amazing playability and tonality features, this is truly just an aesthetically pleasing guitar. Beautifully designed and well-made, this Martin is a no-brainer for any Martin lover on a budget.
