I'm not a big fan of solid state amps,but this little marshall is a very nice,well built amp for its price! I consider it either a practice amp,or to be used playing small gigs..but you can mike it up and get it going also! I installed a external speaker jack on mine..has lots of guts for a 30 watt soild state amp. The Silver Face MG Series have many improvments over the older Gold Face units..You Need To Try Out This Amp To See For Yourself!
