Crafted from a Sitka spruce soundboard with flame maple back & sides, the D'Angelico Mott SBG-700 Acoustic-Electric Bass delivers a powerful, robust bass tone with exceptional resonance and clarity. The maple neck is carved into a cozy slim C shape and is capped with a superbly playable rosewood fingerboard.
The Mott comes equipped with onboard Fishman INK-4 electronics for premium plugged-in tone and performance. For superior tonal tailoring, the preamp consists of a 3-band EQ with Bass, Mid, and Treble controls, a Volume control and a Brilliance control that allows you to add from extra top-end sparkle and shimmer. The electronics also feature an easy-to-read, convenient integrated tuner for accurate, on-the-fly tuning.
Signature D'Angelico touches include block fingerboard inlays in mother of pearl, a rosewood bridge with brass bridge pins, Grover Super Rotomatic tuners in gold, and a classic D'Angelico headstock with Excel inlay and gold truss rod cover. Other features include a black/abalone rosette, a bone nut and a double action truss rod. Case included.

Not covered in this warranty:
Damages caused by humidity or the lack thereof, extreme temperature exposure, abuse, neglect or improper storage. Any instrument on which the serial number has been removed or altered. Any instrument not purchased from an authorized dealer, or upon which unauthorized repair or service work has been carried out. Any instrument that has been damaged due to an accident, negligence or misuse. Shipping damage of any kind. Normal “wear and tear”, including, but not limited to any discoloration, fading or damage to the original finish, or worn frets, strings, tuners, hardware and plating. Any subjective issues such as “tone”.
