For those of us who are a little “pedal happy” there can be some downfall to our tone. When running a pedal board with more than one or two effects, something called “capacitance” happens. This natural problem happens due to the amount of cable or line that your signal has to travel through, not to mention bad switching systems in certain pedals. The result is a very audible amount of high-end loss, weak signal, flabby bass and uncharacteristic pickup behavior in guitars. Another problem is the assumption that all “true bypass” is good. This isn’t true and actually can be worse than imagined.
This is where the “Little Black Buffer” steps in providing the perfect input impedance to your rig and giving you the final result of clear, natural tone that sounds like you're plugged straight into your amp no matter how many pedals you use.
Plug your guitar straight into the input then out into your pedal chain. No need for a switch. The Little Black Buffer runs on any standard 9v supply and measures 3.6"x1.5"x1".
Hand-built by real people in Kansas City, Missouri.

JHS pedals carry an unconditional "TWO YEAR" full warranty for ANY problem related to the function or operation of that pedal due to faulty parts and/or other internal problem. Simply send a copy of the receipt of purchase and JHS Pedals will honor it up to two years. JHS Pedals does not cover things such as broken knobs, pots and jacks due to abuse. JHS Pedals build them to last but not to be thrown out of an airplane. However, JHS Pedals will repair problems that are out from under their warranty like the above at a very reasonable price. Several JHS Pedals have internal trim pots which are set and sealed very carefully for the function of the circuit and it should be noted that tampering with the trim pots will void the warranty.
