  • Description

Based on the legendary, iconic Ibanez RG body style, the Iron Label Series RGDIX7 is a low-tuned monster that’s waiting to be unleashed. The RGDIX7 sports a layered ash body that is topped with a Poplar Burl top finished in Ibanez's Surreal Blue Burst. Heavily contoured for maximum comfort, the double cutaway design features extra-deep scoop cuts on body's lower horn make it easy to access all 24 jumbo frets.

The RGDIX7 also gives you a fast-playing 3-piece Maple/Bubinga Wizard Premium neck with a slightly longer 26.5" scale neck that offers comfortable string tension even when using lighter gauge strings with no sacrifice of playability. This will enable you to maintain that low-tune crunch you need. The Wizard neck boasts a thin profile, and a bound rosewood fretboard with 24 jumbo frets and is built for speed, playability and comfort.

The RGDIX7 arrives from the factory tuned a whole step down: A-D-G-C-F-A-D (from 7th to 1st string). The DiMarzio humbuckers are voiced to capture the hot resonance of all 7-strings; giving you clear and punchy tone, without any muddiness. The Gibraltar Standard II-7 bridge provides fine tuning stability along with rock solid construction; while its low-profile design offers maximum playing comfort. Case not included.
