The Fender Telecaster changed the music world and has been a signature instrument for guitarists throughout the decades: Jimmy Bryant, Muddy Waters, Albert Collins, Roy Buchanan, Bruce Springsteen, Joe Strummer, Merle Haggard, Danny Gatton have all forged a legacy of historic recordings: their guitar of choice? The Fender Telecaster. And that's just naming a few. Now you can experience the tone of countless legends at a price you can afford!

Combining vintage specs with a few modern appointments, features include an alder body and outfitted with Vintage style Telecaster single-coil pickups. The simple schematic of one volume, one tone control, and 3-way pickup selector has spanned the entire 60 years of the Telecaster's existence, proving that a good thing should never be messed with. The one-piece maple neck has the classic vintage tint and the fretboard boasts a modern 9.5" radius and medium jumbo frets, which make for more luxurious string bending. The chrome hardware includes sealed tuners and a bridge with 6 individual steel saddles. Case not included.

Comments about Fender Standard Telecaster Electric Guitar:

I have always wanted a Tele, but didn't see spending $2K for one so when I checked this one out, I was "cautiously optimistic". After playing it awhile I have to say it's a great little guitar. The tone is pretty thin, but then again, it's a Telecaster. Then maple neck is a real pleasure to play – nice and fast, easy to move around on and stays in tune pretty well.

So, overall, I have to say this is a great addition to my collection. Its certainly not my main guitar, but for certain situations – ANY Stones song, Motown stuff or Eagles-ish country rock, it's a great guitar.
