Giannini Guitars, founded by Tranquillo Giannini, an Italian immigrant with major luthier talents opened his first shop and began building acoustic guitars in San Paulo, Brazil in November 1900. Giannini’s reputation continued to grow and is now sold all over the world. Internationally known for its classical guitars, Giannini now offers an impressive selection of acoustic and electric guitars, Ethnic instruments ( Cavaquinhos, Brazilian 10 string Violas, Violins ) Brazilian made strings, effects and tuners. Giannini continues to hand build instruments in Brazil as well as offering hi quality affordable guitars produced at our factories in Asia.
Introduced in 1969 and loved by the world, the Craviola represents the soul of GIannini. With a unique, exclusive shape, the Craviola has a distinctive tone, with outstanding treble, mid's and bass response. Designed by Paulinho Nogueria, a famous Brazilian guitarist, this patented shape instrument took the world by storm with such as artists Jimmy Page ( Led Zeppelin ), Jose Feliciano, Luis Bonfa, Andy Summers and Bill Withers. The tradition continues with artists 4 Non Blondes, Jeff Linksy , Nando Lauria ( Pat Methany ) and many others playing this unique instrument live or in the studio. Jimmy Page, a Craviola user for over 45 years recently received custom hand built 6 and 12 string guitars ( at his request ). Today, the Giannini Craviola is available in a variety of styles, woods and finishes including nylon and steel 6 and 12 string acoustic and acoustic electric versions and their recently introduced line-up of 6 and 12 string electric and bass guitars. To meet players demand for an individual sound, the Craviola 12-String Acoustic Electric Guitar is equipped with Fishman Isys+ electronics with EQ and built in tuner.

Giannini USA warrants solely to the original purchaser that the instrument shall be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for Three (3) Years from the original purchase date as long as the instrument is owned by the original purchaser. Fishman and B-Band pickups and pick up systems are warranted for the term outlined in their individual warranty plan. Giannini Axcess Effects, Digital Tuners and Amplifiers are covered for a period of one (1) year.
The Giannini Limited Warranty does not apply to: normal wear and tear / deterioration of an instrument, misuse or abuse, damage caused by modification or repair by any person other than a Giannini certified technician, authorized service center or authorized dealer, improper maintenance, electrical components not manufactured by Giannini, routine setups, maintenance or adjustments, any indirect or consequential damages or instruments purchased from non- authorized Giannini dealers in the United States or Canada. Giannini will repair or replace parts of the instrument found to be defective under this limited warranty and reserves the exclusive right to make such determination based on inspection by Giannini or an authorized dealer or service center. Giannini reserves the right to modify or upgrade products without incurring any responsibility to modify or exchange any products purchased prior to such modifications. This Limited Warranty is the sole warranty of Giannini USA only and is in lieu of all other warranties.
For repairs and service under this Limited Warranty return your instrument to the place of purchase, an authorized Giannini warranty repair center or send your instrument (shipping and insurance prepaid by the purchaser) to Giannini at the address shown on the face of this Limited Warranty. You must provide proof of the original purchase, a brief description of the problem you are experiencing and the name, address, email and phone number of the original purchaser the instrument is to be returned to. Please call Customer Service prior to shipping your instrument. Giannini will examine the instrument, and service, repair or replace as appropriate under this Limited Warranty. Upon completion of the service, the instrument will be returned by Giannini to the original purchaser, shipping and insurance to be paid by the purchaser. In the event it is determined that the defect is not covered by or is excluded from this Limited Warranty, the instrument will be returned without repairs or replacement, shipping and insurance to be paid by the purchaser.
