Comments about AKG C414 XLS Large Diaphragm Condenser Microphone:
I have been using this microphone for three years now and it still amazes me. The option to have multi-pattern is great and is useful in every type of situation u can possibly think of. i especially like the hyper cardioid for vocals in case of "wandering vocalists". The bi-directional allows two singers to sing at the same time, one at the back and one at the front (judging that the vocal booth is big enough). What i like most about this mic is the SPL. The subject can be very loud that you are recording and there is no distortion or overload. When singers raise their voices, its clean and clear without any unwanted distortion.
