  • Description

In 1956, a small company from New Jersey invented an entirely new guitar. Its "signature tone" changed music forever. Now Danelectro is back with more tone and better playability than ever. With every instrument 100% set up in California, Danelectro will astound you!

The Danelectro '59M NOS is packed with retro vibe and modern upgrades. When Danelectro unearthed a supply of lipstick pickups from 1999 they were inspired to bring the '59M NOS to life. NOS means "New Old Stock". This refers to the vintage parts the instrument is equipped with that are in new, unused condition. While vintage Danelectro '59 instruments feature a wooden bridge, that most modern guitarists feel left alot to be desired, the '59M-NOS features a fully adjustable wraparound bridge that is a great improvement. Case not included.

The clean tone on this guitar is absolutely gorgeous. The build quality is very good. Only issue is that the strap button is in a weird spot but that's super minor. Very happy with it. I own custom shop les Paul's and vintage fenders and this guitar does not feel out of place.
