The Yamaha MG06X mixer is the perfect companion to take wherever your music takes you!

Road Tough. Studio Ready.
For a more precise control and enhancement of  your sound, the Yamaha MG06X comes equipped with a suite of Yamaha's renowned SPX effects. Featuring high-resolution Chorus, Flanger, Distortions, Reverb and Delay, all with editable parameters, these are the same multieffects processors used on Yamaha's high-end mixing consoles, giving you the tools you need to elevate your mixes to a higher plane.

The small footprint of the Yamaha MG06 is perfect for those smaller jobs where you don't need or want to transport a larger mixer to the gig or for recording stereo demos to your PC ...or just simply kicking out the jams at rehearsal.

And its 6-channel input section (2 Mic / 6 Line Inputs [2 mono + 2 stereo]) lets you plug in your guitar, keys and mic and you're off to the races, just like that! Plus the included +48V phantom power will let you connect your best electric condenser mic so you can have your "sound" whenever and wherever you go.

SPX Effects
For musical and non-musical applications alike, effects processing adds polish and professionalism to the mix. The MG06X models feature Yamaha's acclaimed SPX digital multi-effect processor, offering a comprehensive suite of 24 editable digital effects perfect for enhancing your mix, whether adding depth to a speaking engagement or breathing new color and atmosphere into a live band performance. In particular, the high-quality reverb and delay expand the spatial quality of the sound with remarkable realism and naturalness. You can even connect an optional FC5 foot switch for effect on / off control.

D-PRE (Discrete Class-A Mic Preamps)
Delivering fat, natural sounding bass and smooth, soaring highs, with very low distortion, D-PRE preamps possess an impressively wide frequency range that allow them to handle signal from any audio source without overly amplifying any specific elements of the sound. Having such a pure sonic platform to build on will ultimately save you time and effort by eliminating the need for excessive EQing or additional effects processing in order to "fix" your mix.

Metal Chassis
Built to last, MG Series mixers feature a rugged, impact-resistant, powder-coated metal chassis, offering an unrivalled level of durability. With a sleek design contoured for optimal convection cooling, the internal layout separates the power supply from the analog circuitry for superior noise reduction, and further extends the life of the components inside.

Comments about Yamaha MG06X 6 Channel Mixer with SPX Effects:

The Yamaha MG line of mixers are all excellent. My friend and I use one in his home studio and it works great! Though it's small, it's a quality mixer. It does everything that we need it to do and more. The sound quality is also very surprising for something of it's price and size. I would highly recommend to anyone who needs something small or portable.

Comments about Yamaha MG06X 6 Channel Mixer with SPX Effects:

Compact mixer with all you need for small gigs! only reason i'm giving this 4/5 stars is because i'm a fader guy, lol. But for real, this thing is great. If you're doing a gig with 2 vocal mics and some line ins, you don't need anymore than this. The EQ and FX will have you ready to gig wherever!

This is perfect for mixing things in your rehearsal studio or playing out with a small project. And when you want to record it, all you have to do is plug in your laptop. You don't even need to rewire everything. It's good like it is.

This little mixer has all the perks of the bigger portable mixers in a VERy small format. 2XLR combo jacks with 2 stereo channels allow for 6 inputs and bullt in FX selections. Choose from 3 different types of reverb or delay to get you music sounding sweet!

The Yamaha MG06X 6-Channel Mixing Console has 2 Mic / 6 Line Inputs (2 mono + 2 stereo) and a Stereo Bus. As with their larger mixer is also uses the "D-PRE" mic pre's with an inverted Darlington circuit. Also comes with Yamaha's High-grade effects: SPX with 6 programs, XLR balanced outputs, PAD switch on mono inputs and phantom power. All the things you'd look for in a much larger mixer. And the price can't be beat for the features offered. This is a real hands-on product review from Rick @ Sam Ash Phoenix.

If you need a small mixer, this is the one I recommend! I've personaly used the larger variant, but the preamps on this are going to just as crisp and in a compact size. The onboard effects are great in such a compact size. Perfect for personally mixing your vocals, guitar, or a combination of both!
