My first Gibson was an SG that I bought in a pawn shop in Nashville in 1969. Since then I haven't played anything else but Gibson. What else can I say!! I just bought a 2017 Les Paul studio and played it today for the first time. All I can say is WOW!! I really like the reduced weight and the free hard shell case. Great guitar for the buck and most of all it's a Gibson. Oh by the way, that SG I bought I still have and play it when I want to remember that classic Gibson sound.

Amazing sound

The 2017 T Les Pauls are quite versatile. The neck has been modified to allow shredders to get to higher frets with great ease while the 490R and 498T pickups still give you that classic rock tone. The new weight relief system makes this guitar light compared to some other Les Paul models. Comes with a hard shell case.

I have been playing Gibson's for years and the 2017T's keep with the amazing MADE IN THE USA quality taht Gibson is known for. Grover tuners, great pickups with coil taps adds to the signature sound that a Gibson is known for

The Les Paul Studio is a solid, workhorse guitar that works well live and in the studio. It comes with all the great features that make the legendary model so popular, with out the extra appointments that raise the price tag. It's loaded with 490R and 498T pickups that deliver warm clean tones, and can be driven to solid crunch and sustain for days. The neck profile is very comfortable and plays great. The Grover tuners have excellent tuning stability and the trapezoid inlays look awesome and classy.

These really are beautiful guitars. They're not as heavy as a standard, but still have all the great features that make the Gibson sound. They still have the full maple cap, and great pickups, and these finishes really stand out. If you're looking for a top of the line Studio Les Paul model, this is it.

The Studio Gibson's are great guitars for the money. Although they don't have some of the crazy pretty stuff, they still look amazing and play like some of the really expensive Gibsons. Push pull pots are so nice because I like to have the Fender Tone for chicken picking but that awesome humbucker tone when I'm rocking out. Super great guitar and I love it!

The Les Paul Studio has long been the working man's guitar when only a Gibson will do, and now they're packed with more features than ever. Grover tuners keep everything in tune, and coil taps offer more control over your tone. While they don't have the binding on more expensive models like the Classic, you still get trapezoid inlays and USA build quality.
