The Les Paul '60s Tribute 2016 T gives players a fast SlimTaper '60s-style neck, classic P-90 pickups and traditional '60s styling at an incredible value.

The Gibson Les Paul '60s Tribute 2016 T features a solid maple top on a modern weight-relieved mahogany body, giving players added lightweight comfort as well as the familiar tonewood combination to produce that classic Les Paul sound. The smooth satin vintage-style finish gives the Les Paul '60s Tribute 2016 T a simplistically elegant old-school aesthetic. The mahogany neck boasts a fast '60s SlimTaper profile for a comfortable fretting hand feel while the instrument's unbound body and neck are consistent with the popular Les Paul Studio line. For superb playability and effortless bending, the neck carries a rosewood fingerboard that houses 22 frets.

The Les Paul '60s Tribute 2016 T comes fitted with a pair of  vintage-style Gibson USA P-90 pickups to deliver that meaty, raw sound that you've come to expect from a P-90-equipped Les Paul. This modern day classic comes loaded with a set of vintage Kluson-style tuning machines to offer traditional looks with exceptional tuning stability. The Les Paul '60s Tribute 2016 T also features a classic pairing of a Tune-O-Matic bridge with a stopbar tailpiece for maximum sustain and performance. Comes complete with a Gibson Gig Bag.

Comments about Gibson Les Paul Studio '60s Tribute Electric Guitar with Gig Bag:

I bought this because it was such a great price. I have always wanted a gibson. I have just always found a good deal on fenders. I have an American Standard Tele and Strat. I still like my Fenders but, WOW! The difference is a lot more than I thought it would be. It may be puppy love but I can't put this thing down. The tuners were the first big difference. It has deluxe tuners and they put it into tune nicely. And it stays in tune just after having it for a weekend. Second, the P-90 pickups are sweet! They have a great warmth that I have been lacking with my single coils. It will do everything I need it to do. It gets more rockin than I had imagined. I play through an egnater tweaker and I can get any sound I want (always sounded a bit thin with my single coils). The neck is a little bigger than I'm used to, but I have gotten used to it and actually prefer it. I definately found a keeper. This thing will do more than both my Strat and Tele put together. I will probabely keep all my guitars but If this thing got stolen, I would definately buy another (if I had the money). If you like the single coil but are thinking about a Gibson, go for the P-90's. I gave it 5 stars because I haven't played any other Gibsons. I would like to think they were all this nice.

Comments about Gibson Les Paul Studio '60s Tribute Electric Guitar with Gig Bag:

I was able to grap one of the last of these limited edition beauties. Really wanted a Honeyburst, but the light backed GT I did get will work just fine.

Since I got it, the GT has becaome one of my favorite axes to play. Just fits and feels right. Neck is fast, fast, fast. And the Gibby P-90s are for my ears and rig fantastic.

Now my quest for a used Honeyburst version begins. Hopefully I'll find someone stupid enough to sell one.

Comments about Gibson Les Paul Studio '60s Tribute Electric Guitar with Gig Bag:

I've been playing for over 50 years can't remember how many Les Paul's I've owned my first I gave fifty dollars for I'm also a Strat and Tele man I've read just about every review I could find before I went over to Sam Ash and bought one the biggest complaint seems to be the P-90s are to hot they are not to hot if you know how to adjust your amp and or guitar another was the finish this is a [$] guitar and I personally like the satin look you can always take It down to your local motorcycle gas tank painter and have a few coats of clear sprayed on It for another 450.00 bucks, I even read some one say go buy a Epiphone I'll take USA anytime over Chinese guess he don't know they can make them over there for around 50 bucks and you get what you pay for I wonder how long he has been playing. All in all this is a well made guitar very easy to play the P-90s sound great if you don't like them you can always change them out for something a little more mellow, I play blues and and 80s rock and can get the right sound for both with the P-90s out of my Peavey Valve King and my 5 watt Bugera sounds really good on one watt, For the money you can't find any better made in the USA guitar so if you got the bucks and have always wanted a Gibson head down to you local music store and get one remember these are a limited edition and won't be around long.

Comments about Gibson Les Paul Studio '60s Tribute Electric Guitar with Gig Bag:

I have a '68 Les Paul that I will not gig with because of the value, especially if damaged or stolen. This is a perfect, good looking Les Paul (I got the goldtop) at an economy price but with the good looks of a more expensive LP. I love the midrange of the P-90's, and the neck and fingerboard are PERFECT. This model is what working players have been begging Gibson for and they have finally answered listened and answered our prayers.
