The Les Paul '50s Tribute 2016 T gives you classic '50s styling, traditional humbucker tones and amazing playability without the vintage price tag.

The Gibson Les Paul '50s Tribute 2016 T features a solid maple top on a modern weight-relieved mahogany body, giving players added lightweight comfort as well as the familiar tonewood combination to produce that classic Les Paul sound. The smooth satin finish gives the Les Paul '50s Tribute a beautiful, yet simple vintage look. The mahogany neck boasts a historic 1-11/16" width at the nut and a comfortably rounded '50s style profile that will fill out your fretting hand nicely, while the instrument's unbound body and neck are consistent with the popular Les Paul Studio line. For superb playability, a solid feel, classic tone, and unmatched sustain, the neck carries thicker 1-piece rosewood fingerboard that houses 22 frets.

The Les Paul '50s Tribute 2016 T comes loaded with 490R/498T humbuckers to deliver that powerful growl and bite that you've come to expect from a Les Paul. This modern day classic comes equipped with a set of vintage-style green-key tuning machines to offer traditional looks with exceptional tuning stability. The Les Paul '50s Tribute 2016 T also features a classic pairing of a Tune-O-Matic bridge with a stopbar tailpiece for maximum sustain and performance. Comes complete with a Gibson Gig Bag.

Comments about Gibson Les Paul Studio '50s Tribute Electric Guitar with Deluxe Gig Bag:

The look on this baby is classic. The humbuckers are powerful, and under $1000, the price point is close to Epiphone guitars. The neck is a tribute to the 50s era guitars and there is certainly a reason why it's popular. The feel and playability is so smooth! The finish is somewhat plain, but plugging it in changes your perception and senses altogether.

Comments about Gibson Les Paul Studio '50s Tribute Electric Guitar with Deluxe Gig Bag:

Love the feel and playability of the 50's style neck! Awesome looking and playing guitar. Pickups are powerful, and the weight relief body makes it more comfortable to play for extended sets without feeling like your shoulder is going to fall off. Great guitar to add to the collection.

Comments about Gibson Les Paul Studio '50s Tribute Electric Guitar with Deluxe Gig Bag:

This guitar is for the guitarist that wants to dip their toes in the Gibson pool but can't afford to spend to much. At under $1000 this guitar is only a little bit more than the Epiphany Customs. 490/498 pickups give you that classic Gibson tone and the '50s neck has a great sturdy feel to it. Amazing callback to the '50s Gibson Les Pauls

Comments about Gibson Les Paul Studio '50s Tribute Electric Guitar with Deluxe Gig Bag:

This guitar has all the raw features that make a Les Paul great. The classic pairing of a maple cap and mahogany body that provide a full tone that still has clarity, and the beloved 490R/498T pickup combination. This guitar works great with any style of music. The satin finish on the neck is a great feature as well. For anyone looking a mid priced Epiphone Les Pauls, it's worth the small jump to get into a genuine Gibson. This is an affordable Gibson that doesn't skimp on quality.

Comments about Gibson Les Paul Studio '50s Tribute Electric Guitar with Deluxe Gig Bag:

Imagine my surprise when I walked into my local Sam Ash store to buy some strings and saw this guitar on display. I used to have one back in 2012. And just like that one, this 2016 model was setup perfectly and played and sounded awesome right out of the box! For the money, you just can't beat it. It's a working man's guitar. Not overly priced but affordable. The pickups are just amazing. To borrow a better description, the bite and growl you've come to expect from Les Paul are there. Be it rock, blues, jazz. I'm looking to purchase another one, maybe the vintage sunburst. Get one before they're gone!

Comments about Gibson Les Paul Studio '50s Tribute Electric Guitar with Deluxe Gig Bag:

I had never really given these models from Gibson a shot. Mainly due to the price; I am a tone snob and usually an affordable guitar doesn't feel expensive or provide the tonal options I require. However, this guitar feels amazing. I have never been a fan of thick finish on guitars, so this satin body and neck are right up my alley. My only complaint with this guitar is the bridge pickup, because honestly the only bridge pickup, in my opinion, that belongs in a Gibson is a Pearly Gates. Other than that one complaint this guitar is sick.

Comments about Gibson Les Paul Studio '50s Tribute Electric Guitar with Deluxe Gig Bag:

I've owned several Gibson Les Pauls through the years including a Custom. This guitar rocks as good as any of them for an unbeatable price. To the guy who talks about save for a real Les Paul. This is a real Les Paul. I had an Epiphone Les Paul for a few months and it was a beginner's guitar. Glossy finish and body and neck binding don't create the tone. The woods and pickups do. This has the same pickup configuration of the more modern Customs and has the maple top on the mahogany body. Kudos to Gibson for finally producing quality guitars at a great price point. Their sales should skyrocket with this line of Les Pauls.

The finish is flawless. The electronics second to none as usual. It is what it is. A Les Paul Studio at an affordable price. If you can live without the gloss, this guitar is for you.
