The Gibson Les Paul '50s Tribute 2016 HP Electric Guitar delivers '50s style with an eye toward the future.

The Les Paul '50s Tribute 2016 HP gives you classic '50s styling, traditional humbucker tones, amazing playability and groundbreaking modern performance features at an incredible value!

The Gibson Les Paul '50s Tribute 2016 HP features a solid maple top on a modern weight-relieved mahogany body, giving players added lightweight comfort as well as the familiar tonewood combination to produce that classic Les Paul sound. The smooth satin finish gives the Les Paul '50s Tribute HP a beautiful, yet simple vintage look. The mahogany neck boasts Gibson's HP soloist 1.745" neck width and a comfortably rounded '50s style profile that will fill out your fretting hand nicely, while the instrument's unbound body and neck are consistent with the popular Les Paul Studio line. The Les Paul '50s Tribute 2016 HP includes the new, exclusive fast-access heel that allows for unparalleled access to the high notes. For superb playability, a solid feel, classic tone, and unmatched sustain, the neck carries a 12"-radius rosewood fingerboard that houses 22 frets. The High Performance titanium zero-fret nut allows you to adjust the nut angle and string height to optimize action to your particular playing preference.

The Les Paul '50s Tribute 2016 HP comes loaded with 490R/498T humbuckers to deliver that powerful growl and bite that you've come to expect from a Les Paul. It features a classic 2 Vol/2 Tone control compliment plus upgraded HP electronics including a sturdier, noiseless toggle switch and a gold-plated multi-contact jack to provide a better connection that'll grip your cable more firmly.

Gibson has added their revolutionary next-generation G-FORCE automated tuning system to this latest offering of the Les Paul '50s Tribute 2016 HP, delivering unprecedented accuracy and precision tuning. You can now access any preset tuning in just one second, which means you can realistically change tunings in the middle of a song, if needed. What's more? The tuners are now automatically engaged to operate both electronically or individually by hand. Chrome-plated hardware includes the classic Tune-o-Matic bridge and stopbar tailpiece combo for maximum sustain, stability and performance. The Tune-o-Matic bridge has been upgraded with HP titanium saddles that are corrosion resistant, incredibly strong but lightweight, with outstanding sonic clarity. Comes complete with a High Performance Gibson USA Gig Bag.
