Comments about StudioLogic VMK188 Plus 88 Key MIDI Controller:

Hands down best action I have ever seen on any type of keyboard. Honestly this is the closest I have ever felt to a Grand Piano. Seeing as how the piano I play on a regular basis is a Steinway Grand Piano this is important to me. The action is perfectly weighted and very much so simulates the actual responsiveness of a real well weighted piano. I use this in conjunction with mainstage and reason and have had nothing but good experience with this. It powers completely off USB and I have run for a couple hours off of my laptop battery without plugging in.

The knobs and sliders are a bit cheap and the rubber is already peeling off of my knobs but with a bit of glue that is an easy fix. The keybed is the main reason I bought this and I am very pleased with it.

Comments about StudioLogic VMK188 Plus 88 Key MIDI Controller:

Have it running Reason and Logic in my studio. I customized just one preset and I use it for everything. The three pedal inputs are cool, I have one pedal mapped to Record in Logic, which is nice for guitar overdubs. If you care about feel, this is:
Best feeling keyboard ever, hands down. Get it? Hands down!

I love what I can do with this board, but It is lame that they don't have a software editor for the presets, it would make it faster to set up and customize...

but it's pretty simple to program onboard, and once I set it up the way I want, it's smokin.

The Italian styling is hella tight!
