The AIRA SYSTEM-1 is a synthesizer unlike any other, breaking new ground with remarkable flexibility and access to a vast palette of synthesized sounds with the bold and unmistakable character associated with Roland synthesizers for nearly four decades.

For over 30 years, Roland’s modular and semi-modular synthesizers set the pace for innovation in their unique ability to combine a broad spectrum of great sounds with practicality and versatility, making them the first choice for producers and artists on the top of the charts

What's Old is New
Roland’s new System 1 Synth utilizes Analog Circuit Behavior technology (ACB) to analyze the original analog circuits that created these great synths, recreated their sounds with painstaking accuracy and integrated them side-by-side with within the technology of SYSTEM-1.

PLUG OUT with plug-ins
Integrating decades of amazing and different Synth Technology into one system may be complicated, but Roland succeeded and you get to enjoy the easy part.  Along with the fresh, new fusion in an advanced, but friendly keyboard package, accurate software recreations of classic Roland synths have been created to work with SYSTEM-1. Plug-in versions of now legendary Roland synths, can be hosted in the SYSTEM-1 itself, with or without a computer. You can even switch between the internal sounds of SYSTEM-1’s and sounds from the plug-in.

Comments about Roland AIRA Series System-1 25-Key Variable Synthesizer:

I love all of the hands on controls, feels very analog. The plug-out concept is great because I do a lot of work at home in my studio, and I can now take my presets to the stage with ease. The SH-101 modeling is killer! It's also very portable and travels light.

The System-1 is the synth of the future!

Comments about Roland AIRA Series System-1 25-Key Variable Synthesizer:

The system-1 is my favorite piece in the Roland AIRA series. The keys feel awesome and the knobs feel like true classic Roland-quality. The sounds on the system one are great, and you can of course adjust every minute parameter to achieve the exact sound you're looking for. The best feature hands-down is the Plug-out option, which allows you to use the system-1 as many classic Roland synths through software programming, giving you virtually a bunch of classic Roland instruments in one easy to use and highly advanced device1

Comments about Roland AIRA Series System-1 25-Key Variable Synthesizer:

The AIRA was modeled after the original great synths and uses the ACB chip to reproduce those great sounds. The arpeggios on this piece are fantastic and are a must for any EDM type music. I am a sales associate @ Sam Ash Ontario.

Comments about Roland AIRA Series System-1 25-Key Variable Synthesizer:

This is an awesome new design based off a classic piece. Rolands new Plug out technology featured only in the System1 allows you to use Plug-in versions of several Roland synths. You can also switch between the built-in sounds of SYSTEM1 and or sounds of the plug ins. Based off analog circuitry, the SYSTEM-1 acts like an analog unit with a somewhat digital interface.

Comments about Roland AIRA Series System-1 25-Key Variable Synthesizer:

As a keyboardist, I'm mostly playing piano, organ, and string sounds, just due to the nature of the music I play. I like having some syth sounds a la Edgar Winter Group, but I don't want to lug around a huge old synth with a ridiculous patch bay I need a rocket science degree to decode. I also rarely ever play more than one synth note at once, so having this little guy off to to side patches every little whole in my keyboard game. I can easily get the classic synth sounds I want without breaking concentration, my back, or my wallet. Also, let's face it. This thing looks rad!
