Comments about Jean Baptiste JBPT384 Pocket Trumpet:

This is a great trumpet for anyone who wants to practice on vacations without the hassle of checking your trumpet case as luggage. It can also be used for it's recreational purposes because of its fun colors and small size. The only downside is that, with all pocket trumpets, it is slightly off key. This would make it useless for a recording or live preformence. I would recommend this to all of my fellow trumpet players, despite it's disadvantages. My rating: 4/5

Comments about Jean Baptiste JBPT384 Pocket Trumpet:

Third valve tended to stick. Tech tried to resolve and offered me a different, brand new horn, but it also had a valve issue. After just two days I returned it for a refund. I did not want to mess around with a major problem on my brand new pocket trumpet. Sam Ash handled things superbly, but the product was flawed. I would shop there again with no hesitation.

        • Small combo

Comments about Jean Baptiste JBPT384 Pocket Trumpet:

I am absolutely blown away by my JBPT384SX Pocket Trumpet. It has good intonation with no slide adjustment needed for the the low D or 4th space E. I definitely would use this horn on a combo gig. It blows a little stuffy and has some resistence, but it's perfect for what it's designed to do and a little more. That's why I give it 5 stars. Overall, a nice little horn.
