The first studio monitors with powerful network intelligence built into each speaker specifically designed to deliver an accurate mix in any room.

Introducing the JBL LSR4300 Studio Monitors featuring RMC Room Mode Correction, JBL's exclusive technology that automatically analyzes and corrects the response of each speaker in the room for absolute accuracy at the mix position. The first studio monitors with powerful network intelligence built into each speaker specifically designed to deliver an accurate mix in any room, the LSR4300's are the ultimate monitor for modern production studios.

The LSR4300 models feature stunning JBL sound, provide accurate mixes in any workspace, and are priced well within the reach of any project studio. The first self aware monitoring system, they're the only choice for music, post, broadcast, Surround 5.1, and beyond.

These specially priced pairs of monitors also include a wireless remote and analysis microphone, as well as LSR Control Center software.

Beyond Accurate

Great mixes start with an accurate monitor. The 4300 Series incorporates JBL’s Linear Spatial Reference Technology that matches the exact geometry of the 4300’s waveguide design with its transducers and crossover network to optimize the frequency response at the mix position. To ensure that this incredibly accurate monitor delivers superb mixes in the room you’re working in, JBL’s next generation RMC™ Room Mode Correction system incorporates a powerful analyzer into each speaker that automatically analyzes and compensates for problems caused by low frequency standing waves and proximity to boundaries. Truly putting technology to work, all of this is accomplished by simply plugging the LSR4300 calibration microphone into the speaker and pushing a button. A JBL first, the LSR4300 meter provides a reference of the output from each speaker in the system. The results are a revolution in professional mixing: a calibrated listening environment where the monitors truly work in harmony with the room. This creates a stunningly clear and articulate sound stage enabling reliable mixes that translate faithfully to the outside world.

Engineered for Digital Production

Today’s digital production environments are all about precision and control. The LSR4300’s powerful DSP platform provides full system networking and communication. Comprehensive LSR4300 Control Center Software provides total control of all system parameters directly from the workstation desktop. High resolution digital and analog inputs, plus a ‘virtual monitor section’ with input switching, master volume, mute and solo controls, enhance functionality of the entire system and provide comprehensive control at the mix position. The first professional studio monitor with automatic room compensation, centralized system control, and user-friendly simplicity, the LSR4300 Series is the most elegant and intelligent advancement of technology on behalf of better mixes ever offered in a studio monitor.

Comments about JBL LSR4328P 8" Active Studio Monitors (Pair):

After running the RMC these tightened up the bass detail, that has been the hardest to hear in my control room. I took 9 tracks from a live show and spent very little time getting a rough mix. Burned a CD with no processing and played it on everything I could find. It sounded great on every speaker from car stereo's to boomboxes to some $6000. Genelec's in a near by studio. In the studio I was pleased to find the $6000. monitors didn't reveal anything I didn't already know about the mixes. I am very pleased.

Comments about JBL LSR4328P 8" Active Studio Monitors (Pair):

Stayed up till 3:30 mixing and playing pro-tools CDs and WAV everything. My ears said I like it even at such a late time. They seemed to have some coloration in the low mids at high levels. I was pleased to see how the RMC when used properly cleaned up my room. I am convinced they will help my mixes translate to to other media. These will not fix a very bad room but for mixing at moderate levels I am pleased with my purchase.

I Like 'Em!

Comments about JBL LSR4328P 8" Active Studio Monitors (Pair):

"by Steve Johnson , April 2006 I've been using the Mackie HR824's for years and needed a change. I just got the new JBL monitors are they're sweet! Right out of the 90lb box, they reek of quality craftsmanship. They're bigger (and heavier) than they look in the pictures. I was excited to hear what they had to offer, I bought them on a recommendation. First off, the whole RMC thing seems to really work. I was somewhat surprised. It goes through this wierd process of beeps and bloops and sets itself up automatically. It took out the real low frequencies that were causing standing waves that were the fault of my little bedroom studio. You can easily switch between the modes to listen to your music with various EQ settings and with/without the RMC. Digital speaker presets = cool. They can get very loud and the high end is much, much less fatiguing than the Mackies that would just plain hurt after a few hours at loud volumes. The software control looks cool, but is just ok (crashes when opened at the same time as Pro Tools), but everything is accessible from the front buttons. And the moving meters on the front speaker panel are just plain dope. My only complaint is that the manual states not to connect the 1/4"" and XLR analog inputs at the same time. You can switch between the digital inputs but not the analog ones from the front panel buttons. Overall, I'm a very happy camper."
