You are looking at a Gibson J-45 Vintage Acoustic Guitar Vintage Sunburst, serial number 10437011. This is the actual guitar you will receive should you decide to purchase.

Introduced in 1942, the Gibson J-45 remains the best-selling and most popular of the Gibson Acoustic models. The J-45 is widely known for its simplistic, understated yet stylish aesthetic, and more importantly, its distinct acoustic voice that sounds great no matter what style or genre you play—truly living up to the guitar's nickname, "The Workhorse".

The J-45 Vintage from Gibson Acoustic brings players closer than ever before to the legendary sound, look and feel of an actual vintage J-45 thanks to an array of historically-accurate features, period-correct appointments, a thermally-aged top, and more!

To faithfully re-create the unique aesthetic and warm, broken-in tone that you'd normally only expect from a vintage acoustic, Gibson employs a grade-AA Adirondack red spruce soundboard that's been thermally aged to replicate the aging process on a cellular level. Adding to the authentic vintage sound, the top is paired with genuine mahogany back & sides and custom vintage scalloped bracing that features period-correct hot hide glue adhesive for superior resonance, projection and sound transference. The J-45 Vintage features 4-ply aged top binding, single-ply aged back binding, and a hand-rubbed VOS Vintage Sunburst finish to offer a gracefully aged look.

The neck of the J-45 Vintage plays beautifully and also holds true to the look and feel of the original. Fitted to the body with hot hide glue adhesive, the mahogany neck is carved into a comfortably rounded profile and features a classic 24.75" scale length. For smooth playability, the 20-fret rosewood fingerboard sports a cozy 1.725" nut width and features softened edges that'll fit the contours of your fretting hand perfectly. A traditional Gibson script logo and banner decal grace the headstock to add to the genuine vintage vibe of the J-45 Vintage.

Catering to the authenticity of this stunning replica, the J-45 Vintage comes equipped with a set of period-correct nickel tuners, a Belly up traditional rosewood bridge, and a bone nut and saddle.

Other features include an enhanced finish using finer grit sandpaper and polishing compounds for a smooth VOS finish, a premium PLEK setup for superb playability, and a smoother hand-rubbed and oiled fingerboard and bridge. Comes complete with a hardshell case.
