Comments about Gibson J-35 Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

Look I have a 66 J-45, a J-185, a J-100, and a j-200. This J-35 is the most enjoyable guitar I have ever played. It sounds perfect to my ears. When I got it, I couldnt lay it down. I dont know if its just the one I got or they are all like this. Im impressed. Bozeman is Superior to Kalamazoo.

Comments about Gibson J-35 Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

I wanted a Gibson guitar that would sound great plugged in but still retain the authentic, historical look of the 30's Gibson J-35. I found all of those things in this guitar. The electronics sound great through my LR Baggs DI and also through a Fender Acoustasonic 30. Very woody and realistic sound. There is no visible evidence of changes for electronics that would interfere with the artistry of this fine slop shouldered dread. I used it to make a recording and posted it on You Tube. It sounded great without the pickup, just played acoustically. I am so pleased with this guitar and I recommend it highly. Don't feel like you have to pay $500 more for a J45, unless you just prefer that look and feel, because this guitar is a professional instrument. It is lighter and a very robust sounding acoustic. I finger pick and play with a flat pick, including blues. It functions very well in playing these styles. Jordan at the online store was a great help to me in choosing my guitar. I appreciate the great service and all the patience.

Comments about Gibson J-35 Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

I wrote a review of both this great guitar and the store and guys at Sam Ash who helped me. Somehow that review never made it to the site.
Well here I am going at it again.
I have now had this guitar for 1 year and I still cannot get over the cool factor and usability of her. Simply stunning playability and gorgeous sound for both noodling and recording.
I have a 1961 Gibson J-50 that had no equal till I got the J-35....The only thing that the J-35 lacks is the age of the wood...(that will take some time)
IMHO I couldn't have gotten a better match for the 61.....saying that....I will add I JUST got the LG-2 2016 and once again am simply blown away at another Gibson acoustic....and once again Sam Ash did me right.
Go play a J-35 and see if you aren't taken back a step or two (your mileage may vary)
