The Ibanez TSA15H Tube Amp has a genuine Tube Screamer circuit built right into the front end, providing all the warm tube overdrive punch and crunch you’ll need.

Back in the late 1970s, Ibanez released their very first Tube Screamer pedal, the TS-808 Overdrive Pro. Over the following 4 decades, Ibanez Tube Screamer pedals have appeared in various forms right up to today.

The Ibanez TSA15H Tube Amp with Tube Screamer expounds on those previous offerings in a warm, overdriven punchy, crunchy all-tube amplifier.

Employing two 6V6 tubes for power and two 12AX7 tubes for the preamp, the Ibanez TSA15H 15 watt guitar amp features what guitarists have employed for years to achieve loud, rich, chock-full-of-meat guitar tone; an Ibanez Tube Screamer circuit that’s built right into the front end of the amp! When paired with the actual tubes, you’ll experience the full throttle effect of this traditional powerhouse pairing with relative ease.

With two distinct circuits under the hood, the Ibanez TSA15H Tube Amp provides 2 sets of controls. Bass, treble and volume controls are easy to grab for the tube amp while overdrive, tone and level occupy the Tube Screamer side of the controls. There’s also a normal/boost switch for the Tube Screamer, adding an extra measure of 6dB clout to your signal.

The TSA15H is a good looker too, adorned in cream-colored vinyl with black grille cloth and dark green faceplate.

Connections around the back are the AC power input, a 15-watt or 5-watt selector switch, output and footswitch jacks and a send/return for the effects loop. An optional footswitch, the Ibanez IFS2G enables I/O switching of the Tube Screamer circuit as well as a toggle for the 6 dB boost. In addition, Ibanez offers the TSA112C 1x12 enclosure featuring a Celestion Seventy80 speaker. It handles 80 watts @ 8 ohms and is the perfect, matching partner to the TSA15H Tube Amp.

Comments about Ibanez TSA15H Tube Screamer Guitar Amp Head:

I've been through way too many amps in the past year and nothing really gave me the tone I had in my head. Also, some of these amps sounded great but were very one sided. Then, finally I took the plunge on the TSA15 head and cab. So glad I did.

This amp is a 6V6 dream come true. Fantastic cleans and nice slight breakup when dimed. Warmth and sparkle at the same time across both the 5 and 15 watt modes. The Tubescreamer is awesome in this circuit and IMO is better than a stomp version because its literally hard wired to the preamp.

I'm using mine with a Line 6 M13 in the four cable method and its perfect. I mainly use a Telecaster and the amp is super quiet.

Why don't you see these amps on more stages? I think its because many of us equate Ibanez with "shredder". Not the case. This amp is the biggest sleeper on the market. My friend bought one right after I did. Sam Ash was great to work with.
