Rocking with a rustic edge: the S770PB NTF’s Poplar Burl top, with Mahogany body.

The Ibanez S series first appeared in 1987. Ever since, it has changed in appearance and function to represent the cutting edge of Ibanez design. Famous for its lightweight carved mahogany body, the S can take a beating while still providing the resonance of guitars twice its size. The S series also comes equipped with the ZR tremolo system, a smooth ball bearing tremolo that makes every subtle nuance of whammy bar use come alive.

Comments about Ibanez S770PB Electric Guitar:

I just picked up this guitar at my local Sam Ash and this thing is just awesome. The natural wood finish is just beautiful in person. The ZR tremolo is just so smooth with the ball bearings. The extra set of springs in the zero point system adds a little extra resistance when diving. The neck is thin and fast. Probably the best part about this guitar is the resonance it provides. The guitar is just so light and thin and is still produces the same amount, if not more resonance than my RG, which is a pretty thick guitar! For being stock, the pickups aren't half bad. The neck pup can get a little muddy, especially when doing full on chords. They can stand to be swapped out but will do for a little while. This guitar is worth every penny I spent on it... especially considering I have no more money....
