The legendary Ibanez RG Series has been the weapon of choice for hard rock and metal players since 1987 and is recognized worldwide as the ultimate metal machine. The iconic body style is carved from mahogany and is outfitted with a metal-approved dual humbuckers with a single-coil pickup in the middle position, along with a 5-way switch to deliver slabs of explosive tone and infinite flexibility.

The RG470 also gives you a fast-playing 3-piece maple Wizard Premium neck. The Wizard neck boasts a thin profile with a comfortable, flat 15.74” radius and 24 jumbo frets. All on a shark-tooth inlaid rosewood fretboard that is built for speed, playability and comfort. Shredders will love the ease and playability of this high velocity neck.

The Zero Point System in the Edge Zero II tremolo system makes tuning easier and faster as well as providing stable tuning that will withstand long performances, all while maintaining smooth tremolo playing. My guitar stays in tune exceptionally well. action is ok just had to make minor adjustments. frets are good. Tone in humbuckers is much better than expected. You get two very distinct sounds. The middle pickup leaves something to be desired. It isnt too heavy and its pretty well balanced. Ive had much more expensive guitars that werent this good.
