Comments about Ibanez GSR200FM Electric Bass Guitar:

I purchased this bass for a backup and am happy with my choice. I had to do alot of tweeking on it though. I changed strings and had to work on the string action, intonation and oil the fretboard, it was very dry. There was a little fret buzz in a couple areas, but after leveling the frets and adjusting the action there is no problems. It sounds great and with the Jazz Style Pickups, you can get endless tones, along with a bass enhancer to add punch, you can get a great sound straight from the amp with no stomp boxes. For a entry level bass it is well worth the money. The strings that can with it had a bright tone and seemed to be of quality, but I have my favorite brand and went with those instead. You will need a 9 volt battery for the active pickups, so stock up.
