You are looking at a Gibson Custom Historic Select 1959 Les Paul Electric Guitar Lightly Aged Page 90 "Beauty of the 'Burst", serial number HS950336. This is the actual guitar you will receive should you decide to purchase. (8 lbs, 0.6 oz.)

The True Historic lineup from Gibson Custom consists of the most accurate, painstaking reproductions of their original legendary Les Paul models from the '50s. The Gibson Custom Historic Select program builds on the True Historic platform, but what sets it apart is that the Historic Select instruments allow for a more customized '50s Les Paul model.

This Gibson Custom Historic Select 1959 Les Paul was made to reflect the look of the gorgeous '59 Les Paul (#9 1864) found on page 90 of the "Beauty of the 'Burst" book. Believed to be owned by rock legend Jeff Beck, this 'Burst has all the mojo that you'd expect from a '59 and then some. The lightweight mahogany body sits beneath a beautiful two-piece figured maple top that sports a 'Burst finish that holds true to the faded Sunburst finish on #9 1864. This Historic Select has also been lightly aged to enhance that authentic vintage vibe, showing some dings, nicks and finish checking. Just as the original '59, this Historic Select '59 Les Paul comes equipped with a pair of uncovered humbuckers, featuring an uncovered zebra coil in the neck and a black uncovered pickup in the bridge. These Custom Bucker pickups don't just look the part though, they also deliver all that legendary growl, bite and snarl of those original sought-after late '50s PAF humbuckers.

Traditional '59 Les Paul appointments give this Historic Select its instantly recognizable vintage 'Burst allure. These authentic features include an incredibly accurate dish carve, a chunky '59 mahogany 24.75"-scale neck, a one-piece bound rosewood 'board with a nylon nut and reissue trap inlays, traditional hide-glue adhesives, and aged nickel hardware including a set of reissue Kluson tuners and an ABR-1 non-wire bridge with a lightweight stopbar tailpiece. Rounding out this vintage-inspired package, this Historic Select 1959 Les Paul comes loaded up with vintage-correct True Historic plastics, and boasts cream binding and reissue aniline dye for the back, neck and rims. Comes complete with a hardshell case and include a Certificate of Authenticity from Gibson Custom.
