Comments about Ibanez UKC10 Concert Ukulele:

I've had the UKC10 for about 3 months now. Out of all the Ukes I've played with, it's not exactly the prettiest ever, but I'm pretty darn impressed by the sound. And I'm not saying it's ugly - it actually has an interesting wood grain to it that looks almost 3D from certain angles (that sounds weird, I know). However, it's still rather plain, with no inlay or special prints.

Beyond the looks though, it's a great playing uke. It's easy to play, but has a nice range to it that allows me to easily play along with any songs that come my way. I've noticed with cheaper ukuleles that as you move down the fretboard there is little variance from one fret to the next... this isn't the case with the UKC10. It has distinct sounds to each fret and allows for a lot of range with chords and finger-picking. I'll be purchasing a more expensive uke now that I know I love the instrument, but I DO NOT regret buying this make/model. If you're looking for a quality uke that you won't be embarrassed to play in front of friends, as well as play for years to come, buy the UKC10. Give it a try, you know you want to!
