The Taylor GS Mini packs the voice of a full-size guitar into a fun, compact size at an affordable price.

Whether you're looking for a travel-friendly acoustic guitar that won't sacrifice in volume or tone, or maybe you just feel more comfortable with a smaller instrument to keep in the house, the Taylor GS Mini is the answer.

The epitome of "good things come in small packages", the Taylor GS Mini Acoustic Guitar packs a rich, full-bodied acoustic voice into a scaled-down version of Taylor's bold-sounding Grand Symphony shape. Featuring layered sapele back and sides, a Sitka spruce soundboard and X-bracing with Taylor's tone-enhancing relief rout, the GS Mini is durable, affordable and offers a beautiful sound with more volume than you'd expect from a guitar of its size. Making the GS Mini incredibly fun and extremely comfortable to play, the smaller body is paired with a short 23.5"-scale sapele neck that sports a 20-fret ebony fingerboard. Other features include die-cast chrome tuning machines, an ebony bridge and a Nubone nut & saddle. Offering the portability of the gig bag with the protective properties of a hard case, a Taylor hard bag with adjustable backpack straps is included with your purchase of the GS Mini.

If you decide after you purchase the GS Mini that you want the plug-in-and-play flexibility of an onboard pickup, there is no need to fret (pun intended)! Taylor has designed an easy-to-install aftermarket, passive magnetic soundhole pickup that was specifically developed for the GS Mini: the ES-Go. No guitar technicians needed for installation. As long as you have a screwdriver, you can install this the ES-Go in minutes thanks to the pre-fitted brackets under the hood of the GS Mini. Control the volume of your plugged-in sound with ease by pairing the ES-Go pickup with the Taylor V-Cable that features a built-in volume control right on the cord. Taylor ES-Go and Taylor V-Cable sold separately.

Comments about Taylor GS Mini Acoustic Guitar:

This is a great sounding guitar at a fraction of the size! Those smaller handed guitarists will finally find some comfort with this mini by Taylor. No more stretched aching fingers. And just because it is smaller doesn't mean it will have a smaller sound. The combination of a spruce top and sapele sides and back gives this guitar a sound that can rival larger guitars. The bag it comes with is great, so you can bring it along with you anywhere you can go.

Comments about Taylor GS Mini Acoustic Guitar:

What a great compact guitar. The GS mini takes the ever popular
Grand Symphony shape and brings it to a more portable size. Even though this guitar is smaller than its' bigger brothers, it still projects a full and balanced guitar tone. It sounds great whether you play fingerstyle or with a pick. Some small guitars lack on the low end, but the GS mini still manages to have a solid bottom as well as great clarity.

This guitar is set up to install an optional pickup that snaps right in the soundhole at the base of the neck. It even includes a quick change endpin jack so there isn't an annoying cable hanging out of the soundhole.

Bottom line: great sounding guitar with very portable size without compromising quality tone. The addition of a well structured gig bag doesn't hurt either.

Comments about Taylor GS Mini Acoustic Guitar:

The magic in this guitar is the contoured back. This provides excellent projection and a deep bass end on top of crisp highs. It is made very well and plays great. The included gig bag is perfect for travel or storage. I have played several Taylor GS Mini models and all have been great. I'm a staff reviewer at Sam Ash Music.

Comments about Taylor GS Mini Acoustic Guitar:

This guitar is SO LOUD in the best way. It's perfect for traveling, playing at home, taking to college, shows, and small people like myself. If you need a smaller acu guitar this is the one to get, it really sounds awesome, especially for the price. Taylor stuff is always great quality, including the cases, which it comes with. And most guitars don't so no time has to be wasted with this model trying to find a case that fits and still gives some protection. belive me case hunting is annoying, making this guitar worth it on all different levels. Comments about Taylor GS Mini Acoustic Guitar:

The GS mini is a phenomenon. When people considering buying a small guitar they are ready to compromise the sound. In this case, you compromise nothing. It sounds like a full size guitar, and projects beautifully. The neck is a smaller scale - which feels amazing for anybody- wheatear you small or big hands.

The greatest thing thing about the GS mini is that you can take it to school, park, beach, vacation etc. BUT you can also recoed with it, preform with it, jam with people etc.

Once you strum one chord on the GS mini you fall in love!
Even Bob Taylor said himself, that from the guitars he has built, the GS mini is the guitar that he is most proud of.

                    Totally go for it!

Comments about Taylor GS Mini Acoustic Guitar:

I got mine right after they first came out. I couldn't believe how great it played and sounded. It's a Taylor Grand Symphony body only shrunk down. Best thing about it is the sound. It sounds like a huge guitar! Solid Sitka Spruce top with the layered Sapele back and sides. Most guitars in the same size and category do not have anywhere near the same quality of woods. Some don't even use real wood for the back and sides. Real Ebony fingerboard- best wood for transferring tone to the sound board. Cool thing, if you want to make it acoustic electric, you can get yourself the ES-Go pickup, and in a few seconds, you have a guitar that is ready to plug and play. By far, the best guitar in it's category. I'm a sales associate at Sam Ash Music Ontario.
