Grover's patented locking tuners have eliminated the obstacles of other locking devices. Since there are no external mechanisms to initiate the locking action, the machine head's appearance is like any other. The entire locking mechanism is self-contained and self actuated. Arranged 6 in a line (Fender, Ibanez style headstocks).

Comments about Grover 406C6 Locking Rotomatic Guitar Tuners (Chrome) (Set of 6/Inline):

I bought these tuners to put on my telecaster, I have had them on the guitar for about 10 months. And they were great tuners, they are accurate and have a great gear ratio, but about a week ago one of the locking mechanisms broke, and I was aware because there was a rattling comming from the tuner. Then yesturday when I went to restring it, as I was tuning it the high e, it slipper off the peg even though I had wrapped the string around it 3 times, however I rewound it and was able to get the string to stay, it still tunes fine but I am going change out these with non-locking Grover's
