New for 2014, D'Angelico is proud to introduce the EX-175—a rockin' addition to the Standard Series line. The only Bigsby-equipped archtop hollowbody available in the D'Angelico family, the EX-175 allows players to experience the renowned performance, style and tone that you've come to expect from D'Angelico while offering an unmistakable rock 'n' roll edge. The body is crafted from a classic pairing of a laminated spruce top with beautiful laminated flame maple back & sides. Featuring multi-ply body binding and dressed in your choice of Natural, Black or Cherry finishes, the EX-175 has a stunning visual appeal to match its great tone. Featuring a walnut center, the 2-piece maple neck is carved into a slim profile for superb playability and exceptional player comfort.

Incredibly dynamic and ultra-responsive to every nuance of your playing, the EX-175 comes equipped with a pair of Kent Armstrong humbuckers in the neck and bridge positions. Taking you anywhere from a shimmering clean tone to a throaty growl, the EX-175 is the perfect choice for rockers, blues players and jazz players alike.

The D'Angelico EX-175 sports a set of chrome Grover Super Rotomatic stairstep tuners, a rosewood bridge and a chrome Bigsby B-30 vibrato tailpiece. Classic adornments include a distinctive D'Angelico headstock featuring a mother-of-pearl Excel inlay and an Art Deco truss rod cover, a signature stairstep pickguard and mother-of-pearl square block fingerboard inlays. This finely crafted archtop comes with the full protection of a deluxe hardshell case.

D’Angelico Guitars of America warrantees this instrument to be free from defects, in materials and workmanship, for a period of one year from the original date of purchase, subject to the limitations contained herein.

Not covered in this warranty:
Damages caused by humidity or the lack thereof, extreme temperature exposure, abuse, neglect or improper storage. Any instrument on which the serial number has been removed or altered. Any instrument not purchased from an authorized dealer, or upon which unauthorized repair or service work has been carried out. Any instrument that has been damaged due to an accident, negligence or misuse. Shipping damage of any kind. Normal “wear and tear”, including, but not limited to any discoloration, fading or damage to the original finish, or worn frets, strings, tuners, hardware and plating. Any subjective issues such as “tone”.
