Comments about DigiTech HardWire RV-7 Stereo Reverb Pedal:

Nice overall verbs a lot of flexibility but I'm not sure about the Lexicon tonal quality
Wish it was a bit smaller

Comments about DigiTech HardWire RV-7 Stereo Reverb Pedal:

I've been wary of Digitech products aside from a few niche pedals like the Whammy. But their reverbs and delays always sounded cold to me.

Anyway, I bought this based on the prospect of the Lexicon algorithms. I've owned some lexicon units that I thought were top notch. However, after using this for about a year on my board, I was never pleased with it. They may be using Lexicon verbs inside, but something about the calibration of the unit itself is just cold. These are not warm lush reverbs. Each knob on this pedal takes things from cold to biting cold.

I finally sold it and grabbed a T.C. Electronics Hall of Fame instead and have been absolutely thrilled with the difference. Digitech isn't quite building at the level of Lexicon or T.C. yet which is a shame, because I really thought the Hardwire series was a step in the right direction.

Comments about DigiTech HardWire RV-7 Stereo Reverb Pedal:

I wasn't sure at first if I really wanted the pedal, but I was happy with the CM-2 and thought I'd give it a try, now It's never not in use. I play rock and roll, blues, and a little jazz and it fits in everything. Great sound quality, true bypass, blue on/off light (so much easier to see than red), and a huge possibility of sounds.

All Digitech mutiprocessors--RP and GNX units-- the Whammy, and the JamMan, have a one year warranty from the manufacturer. All X-Series pedals and analog distortions(Bad Monkey, etc.)have a one year warranty, but if the new owner registers online at digitech.com, the warranty goes to 5 years on the X-Series and analog distortions only.
