The Marshall JTM45THW Handwired JTM45 Tremolo head delivers vintage Marshall tone, build quality and authenticity.

The all-tube Marshall 2245THW is a hand soldered reissue of the extremely rare 'Bluesbreaker' head, based on the archetypal JTM45 head, which was the amp that began it all back in 1962. As you would expect, the amp specifications for the Marshall 2245THW are identical to the 1962HW 'Bluesbreaker' combo, minus the speakers of course. Inside the Marshall 2245THW, the circuit topology is made up of four ECC83, two KT66 in the power stage and a GZ34 rectifier.

It’s the GZ34 rectifier that helps recreate the sublime output stage compression and clean sustain associated with the Marshall 'Bluesbreaker' head. To make the 2245HW as authentic as possible, Marshall has used original thickness, original pitch matrix, point to point tag boards and Drake transformers and just like  the 'Bluesbreaker' combo, the 2245THW now features tube tremolo.
