Each has its own character and DC resistance, just like the originals
Seymur Duncan made this model to look and sound like a well-worn '50s humbucker as originally designed by Seth E. Lover. The pickups are built to traditional standards. Each has its own character and DC resistance, just like the originals. In order to give the player a pickup that looks like it's been played regularly for 40 years, the Antiquity has aged nickel silver cover and poles.
The pickup is not wax potted, which retains the vintage sound and appearance. Crafted by hand in Duncan's "Antiquity" room, each pickup is signed on the magnet and bottom plate to guarantee you are getting an original Seymour W. Duncan Antiquity™. Included is a front-tapered mounting ring and the screws that go with it.

Comments about Seymour Duncan Antiquity Humbucker Electric Guitar Pickup (Neck):
I put this on my G&L guitar to replace my neck because I did not like how my cleans sounded. I had a local shop put this in and even the guys at the shop wanted some of the Seth Lover on there guitar. Ive never liked using my neck pick up until I put this in. I am already buying another to put in my Gretsch. Best sounding neck pick up Ive ever heard. Playing Blues its perfect and even if your going for that warm leads it even works for that. I play all kinds of music and I must say you cant go wrong with seymour duncan.
