The Fender Classic Series '50s Stratocaster delivers vintage Strat tone, feel, and style, without the vintage guitar price tag.

The Fender Classic Series '50s Stratocaster stays true to the original specs that put the Strat on the map in 1954. This Classic '50s Stratocaster sports an alder body with the legendary ‘comfort contour’ design that was way ahead of its time. The body is outfitted with a trio of single-coil pickups powered by Alnico magnets that deliver those clear, bell-like, bright Strat tones that were the driving force behind an endless list of guitar legends. Aged plastic knobs give the Classic '50s Stratocaster an even more vintage look.

Just like the original design, this Classic '50s Stratocaster is also equipped with a traditional 1-piece maple neck which is amber-tinted to resemble a vintage neck. The maple neck also sports a V-shaped profile loved by millions of Strat players, 21 vintage frets on a traditional 7.25” fingerboard radius. A vintage-style synchronized tremolo completes the package. Deluxe Gig Bag is included.

Comments about Fender Classic Series '50s Stratocaster Electric Guitar:

I grew up in the 80's , a time when the V-neck Strat was impossible to get unless you were rick or your dad owned one.I like it better than the new American standard.Fender ought to go back to Leo's original design across the board and quit wasting time with the C and U neck garbage. Murphy's law "If it ain't broke, don't fix it."

If you like Strats, do yourself a favor and try one with the pre-CBS V-neck, for it's the real deal Leo Fender all the way.

The sound is all Original Fender too, so if you don't like hum, don't buy a Fender, the hum comes from the single coil pickups, which is what the Fender sound is all about.

This review is for people who understand Fender, if you're a beginner get a Squire value pack to see if you like playing guitar enough to spend serious money on eq. and go from there, that's what I did 25 yrs ago.

BTW this guitar kick's when hooked up to a Fender HotRod Delux

Comments about Fender Classic Series '50s Stratocaster Electric Guitar:

"I've played this guitar for almost three years and i didnt have many problems, until the last few months. The intonation has been a problem, i had the guitar professionally set up a few months ago and it has already gone out again. the fret buzz has become really irritating. For $[...] I expected something of higher quality"

"For the money, as close as you can get to a real classic"

Comments about Fender Classic Series '50s Stratocaster Electric Guitar:

"I have a friend who owns some real-deal late fifties and early sixties Strats. And as far as the 50's Strat is concerned, it's playability and tone are dead on with the original. I do think the modern neck does not have the same classic 'V' shape feel but it is close. The pickups are perfect, original tone (with all the original noises). The finish is pretty good, the orginal shaped pick guard has problems, on my first one it was warped to the point were the neck pickup was not stable (half of those I played had warping on the pickguards). I have played as many of these as I could get my hands on, like the originals, some are great and others miss the mark. It did not matter what I amp I used, this had that 50's tone and feel. With a little bit of aging and some playing time it is going to be a favorite. It is not American made, and I am told the sunburst features andalder body which is like the originals and perhaps sounds even closer. My daphne blue looked and sounded great, granted it has some of the quirks of the originals, but I thought it was a great value. And if I want to age this guitar quickly I will just let our drummer hold onto it for a few minutes, he can turn a brand new guitar into a beat up relic real fast. "
