The Taylor 210ce Cutaway Dreadnought Acoustic-Electric Guitar delivers professional quality and classic dreadnought style at an extremely affordable price.

The Taylor 210ce has the classic look of a rosewood/spruce Dreadnought and is optimized for performance with cutaway access and Taylor electronics. Quality, style and an attractive price are compelling features you’ll find in the Taylor 210ce before you even pick one up. Of course, one strum backs everything up with great tone. The appealing tones and subtle nuances of a solid Sitka spruce top and layered Indian rosewood backs and sides are amplified with clarity and warmth, thanks to Taylor’s ES-T under-saddle pickup. Plug in and take your performance to the stage with confidence. The Taylor 200 Series redefines what a mid-priced guitar can be.

The Taylor 210ce boasts a bookmatched Sitka Spruce soundboard with Taylor’s “X” bracing. As a Sitka Spruce grows in a coastal "pocket" from Northern California to Alaska. This dense, straight-grained wood has the highest strength and elasticity-to-weight ratio among available tonewoods, an attribute that makes it an ideal material not only for soundboards, but for internal bracing, as well. The back and sides are crafted from layered Indian rosewood which presents a beautiful aesthetic in a durable, affordable package.

The slim taper neck is carved from Sapele, which is denser and harder than mahogany. You will love the ease and playability of the fast, thin profile of this neck and 20 fret ebony fingerboard. The cutaway body design of the Taylor 210ce allows you to access the upper register notes for when you’re reaching for a little extra in your soloing.

When it’s time to plug in and hit the stage, the Taylor 210ce features the Expression System Transducer, or ES-T, is a single-source, under-saddle transducer with individual elements for each string. The ES-T has an onboard preamp and features a custom-voiced EQ with a simplified volume, bass, and treble control layout. The system is powered by a 9-volt battery, with a battery life LED power indicator. The pickup also has a Phase switch for feedback control, which is located on the preamp board inside the soundhole. The Taylor 210ce is equally at home on stage, in studio, or the front porch. A Deluxe Taylor Gig Bag is included.

Comments about Taylor 210ce Dreadnought Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

Picked up several acoustic guitars at my local Sam Ash looking for that diamond in the rough. There was plenty of rough and not many diamonds under $1000. However, this Taylor was a find. Went in thinking I would be coming out with a Martin. Nothing Martin had at this price point compared sonically, asthetically, or playability-wise to the Taylor. The Martins were tinny and had little output on the low end compared to the 210CE. Looks, no comparison. Taylor wins that hands down. Feel, again Taylor far superior. Through the PA the Taylor sounds awesome. Martin fans, do yourself a favor and pick up a Taylor. Give it a good long side-by-side with comparably-priced Martins. I think you will be pleasantly surprised.

Comments about Taylor 210ce Dreadnought Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

When I first picked this beautiful guitar up I was comparing it to the martin d series and I have to say the Martins don't have that rich, full sound that Taylors have and overall I would say if your looking to persue in a career of music and you want a superior guitar to do the job this is the guitar for you.
