PRS brings its renowned quality, tone and craftmanship to the SE series with high-performance single cutaway acoustic electric. Order yours from Sam Ash Direct today for the guaranteed lowest price and fast, free shipping.

The PRS SE Angelus Standard Acoustic-Electric guitar is first and foremost a player’s guitar. Starting with a solid spruce top paired with Paul Reed Smith’s  X-bracing and accompanied by Mahogany sides and back, the SE Angelus is patterned after a small jumbo body shape, reminiscent of classic guitars of decades past. The cutaway design allows players to reach the upper register notes when you’re reaching for a little extra during a solo. Whether playing at home or onstage, the SE Angelus projects a warm, powerful and balanced tone that is perfect in any setting.

The neck is carved from mahogany into a luxurious “wide fat” profile with a 20 fret rosewood fingerboard and the familiar PRS bird inlays as standard appointments. For live performances, the SE Angelus is driven by the easy to operate PRS designed pickup system, with an under-saddle design with three bands of EQ and an anti-feedback loop. You will be able shape your amplified tone through any sound system, while delivering classic, lush acoustic tones to your audience. Additional high-grade features include a PRS designed rosewood bridge, a beautiful inlaid rosewood rosette and PRS SE tuners. Finally, a Deluxe PRS Hardshell Case is included.

"The SE Angelus models are the newest additions to the SE product family, which has matured into a comprehensive line of electric and acoustic guitars as well as amplifiers. The addition of an optional pickup system on the SE acoustics makes the line even more complete. My hope is that all of our SE products become tools for making music and sources of joy," said Paul Reed Smith.

Comments about Paul Reed Smith SE Angelus Standard Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

This guitar has all of the high quality craftsmanship that Paul Reed Smith is known for but at a price most people can afford. The neck is round and smooth, it fits right in the hand. This guitar looks great too. It sounds rich with the mahogany back and sides. The spruce top gives it a crisp and clear sound. It plays great and sounds good too. A great value. This is a hands on review from Zak at Sam Ash Buffalo Grove.

Great, no, amazing guitar. PRS could honestly sell this guitar for double! I love the coloring, the shape, the cutaway, the neck. Comments about Paul Reed Smith SE Angelus Standard Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

This is the first SE series PRS I've owned and while you wouldn't confuse it with those made in Maryland, it's a great guitar that I would have expected to cost between $1,000 - $1,200. I prefer the cutaway models and this one looks terrific, is comfortable to play and has great tone. I highly recommend it.
